Vikings: An Archers Journey is a unique combination of and endless runner and an archery game where you play Nott, a Valyrie who's angered the dreadful Viking gods. As punishment, her faithful wolf, Oder, has been sent to the underworld. With this being her motivation, your heroine is delving into the frigid lands of the dead to rescue her trusty companion.

The controls in Vikings: An Archers Journey are easy to learn but hard to master. Sliding your finger on the left side of the screen lets you tighten your bow and aim. When you tap the right side of the screen, you can jump. You need to learn how to combine both actions in order to make it as far as you can in the underworld plagued with traps and enemies able to put an end to your adventure with a single attack.
